Biography
Liane Deligdisch graduated Medical School in Bucharest, Romania, trained in Obstetrics-Gynecology and Pathology in Israel. In the USA since 1986 she was a resident in Pathology at the Boston Free Hospital for Women (Harvard Medical School) visiting Professor at Magee Women's Hospital, Pittsburgh and Fellow in Perinatal Pathology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York where she is a Professor of Pathology and Obstetrics-Gynecology since 1986 to present. She founded the Division of Gynecologic Pathology and the Course of Gynecologic Pathology at the Medical School. Member of the French National Academy of Medicine, authored 145 articles in peer-reviewed journals and edited 7 textbooks.
