Biography
Dr. Pedro Alejandro Lucero Diaz Doctor and researcher born in Lima, Peru. He received his degree in Medicine at the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. He completed his specialty as a Medical Oncologist and Radiotherapist at the National Medical Center Siglo XXI, later he made his post-doctoral stay at the University of California Davis in the development of peptide vaccines and clinical immunomodulation under the supervision of Dr. José V. Torres. Dr. Lucero is a physician attached to the Medical Oncology Service of the Cancer Research Center in Sonora (CICS) in Ciudad Obregón. He is part of the medical team of the Advanced Molecular Oncology Clinic and is in charge of the Chemotherapy and Immunomodulation Unit with Immunogenic Chemotherapy. He is currently the Academic Coordinator of CICS; serves as a leader in a research project for the prevention of colon and pancreatic cancer in high-risk patients. Dr. Lucero has in the process publications in the area of ​​Molecular Oncology and Immunology of the gastric tract in patients with cancer in early and advanced stages.
